Dew Software is currently seeking a talented and experienced Oracle PLSQL Development- Senior Database Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Database Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting Oracle PLSQL applications and databases. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, develop efficient and scalable solutions, and ensure the performance, availability, and security of our clients' databases.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PLSQL applications and databases
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
  • Develop efficient and scalable PLSQL code to support business processes and data operations
  • Perform database administration tasks, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management
  • Create and maintain technical documentation related to PLSQL applications and databases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of PLSQL solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Oracle PLSQL development

Requirements

  • Involvement in the full development cycle of planning, analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation
  • Should Coordinate with the front-end design team to provide them with the necessary stored procedures and packages and the necessary insight into the data
  • Should be able to understand complex logic and convert the same into programming
  • Strong understanding of database concepts
  • Should have worked on high volumes of data and with high concurrency.
  • Should have worked on performance tuning on Oracle.
  • Should have worked writing various and complex SQL's
  • Hands on experience on triggers, packages, functions and stored procedures for data conversions and PL/SQL procedures to create database objects dynamically based on business logic
  • Should have worked on indexes to improve the performance by eliminating the full table scans and views for hiding the actual tables and to eliminate the complexity of the large queries
  • Should have Used ref cursors and collections for accessing complex data resulted from joining of many tables
  • Should be able to work on multiple POCs and measure the database performance, providing recommendations to the database for specific needs of application
  • Must have exposure to more than one database including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB
  • Good to have exposure on any NoSQL databases
