PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Job Responsibilities

  • To lead Inside Sales team and drive revenue growth for Infinity Learn – B2C Sales

  • To develop a 90 day & 180 day road map to take team from zero to fully functional high performing sales team

To identify and evaluate competitor activity, market information, customer feedback and feeding this information back to the Inside Sales team

To achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets as set by the company through the delivery of the strategic sales plan

To set up the systems and processes required to operate a successful sales team, identifying training needs, establish progression cycles, performance matrix’s, ensuring a number driven culture with emphasis on employee empowerment and success

  • Implement sales strategies, sales campaigns and metrics to measure performance and the development of sales staff

Manage teams as large as 100+ members with the support of Managers & Team leads, and build larger teams basis business demand.

  • To identify, develop and maintain strong relationships with the company’s key stakeholders on overall strategy and new initiatives to grow and drive the business forward


Identify new customer requirements to identify new sales opportunities/categories across various service offerings or products to support the growth strategy both with new customer acquisition as well as up-sells within existing customer base.


  • Establish Performance Goals and Objectives for each member of the Sales Team, which will support the Sales Strategy and the value proposition


  • Take full control of man-days and drive input metrics to build a sales funnel that achieves daily business target


Analyze the Sales Teams productivity and ensure they are achieving individual Sales Targets


Motivate the Sales Team with rewards and growth opportunities, and inspire them to stay focused on company goals


  • To generate and deliver weekly/monthly Sales Reports (supported by factual Sales data) for Senior Management review


  • Effectively communicate the ‘Value Proposition’ within Senior Management via Proposals and Presentations, as necessary.

  • To ensure that all direct reports comply with the Company’s core Policies and Procedures as detailed within the Company’s Employee Handbook and/or communicated by the HR Department from time to time


Desired Skills and experience:


7+ years of overall experience with at least 5 years of experience in sales/inside sales in the EdTech industry


Minimum 2 years of experience leading a larger Sales team of 80+ members in Edtech Sales


Graduate (or Postgraduate) with deep and extensive experience in Edtech industry.


Proven experience in sales and driving growth.


Experience in building and leading sales or inside sales teams for an organization.


Should have high level of appreciation for processes and systems.


Should be innovative, self-motivated, business-oriented, and passionate about creating value for businesses.


Effective communicator / negotiator with customers to ensure successful execution with ownership.


Capability to execute rapidly and efficiently in an unstructured environment.


Ability to prioritize among competing opportunities, balance customer and business needs, and articulate the rationale behind decisions.


Outstanding team player with the ability to coordinate people and activities across multiple functional areas.


Passion to work in a fast-paced environment, hunger to grow rapidly.
