Illumine - Business Design & Client Engagement Role

The OpportunityAs a part of business design and engagement team, you will work on creating & scaling transformative businesses across sectors.Some of the impact spaces you will work on: (i) Building citizen centricity in the last mile citizen facing staff of government organizations (ii) Helping corporates enable their retail & distribution networks to grow & sustain their businesses (iii) Enabling teachers to become catalysts of change in schools to deliver better learning outcomes and more.Each of these spaces leverage Illumine's unique IP portfolio built over the last 30 years to bring about such impact with speed, scale, measurability & at a reasonable cost. For example, one of our impact spaces with the Govt. has reached 1.7 million people across large organizations such as Indian Railways, India Post, Haryana State Govt., CBIC, Delhi Police, etc. in the last 3 years alone. You will play a critical role in replicating this kind of scale and speed in other impact spaces.What will you do:You will play one or more of these roles based on your strengths: 1. New Market Creation/ Pre-Sales- Map market clusters to uncover potential clients across sectors such as government organizations., large corporates and their ecosystems, social sector, etc.- Build proposals & solutions in response to tenders, RFPs, partnership possibilities, etc.- Collaborate with internal teams to develop product demos, deployment approaches & solution models- Design new strategic partnership models with think tanks, funding organizations, foundations, industry bodies, venture capital firms, etc.2. Product/ Platform Management - Build the core product/ solution model and design value propositions for the market - Rapid prototyping & evolving the products / solutions integrating client/ user feedback - Design and build product adoption models/ product marketing approaches for successful implementation in the client environment3. Business Research & Client Engagement- Conduct business ethnography to map out relevant data and test the initial model within the client context- End-to-end engagement with client & its stakeholders for ensuring client outcomes are met- Work with internal practice teams to integrate solutions at various stages of the project- Apply appropriate deployment models to ensure large scale adoption and sustainability of the initiative.4. Deployment & Analytics- Design & build of scalable deployment models for business/ intervention context to achieve qualitative and quantitative outcomes- Design and implement powerful analytics tools/platforms that empower multiple stakeholders to take decisive & immediate action- Sense-make deep insights using quality diagnostics and measurement tools to track intervention/ business outcomesWhat do you need to succeed in this role:- Strong conviction/ alignment in Illumine's philosophy and its purpose- Ability to proactively 'sense' business opportunities and potential market signals- Ability to dive deep/ study business contexts, Illumine's models, etc. for developing marketing collaterals & knowledge products- Confident to engage & communicate effectively in interactions with senior partners / client stakeholdersYour background- MBA with 2-4 years of corporate or entrepreneurial experience (from any domain or background)- Have a consistent track record of excellence - academic/ in any other area you are proud of- Capable of working on equal terms with a highly intelligent, creative, result oriented multi-disciplinary group of committed people (Engineers/ MBAs from top schools, ethnographers, psychologists, mathematicians, architects, etc.)Growth opportunities: You could become a future business builderWe intend that those who are high contributors will potentially spearhead business spin offs using Illumine's IP across multiple segments and markets.- In the initial 2 to 2.5 years, you will be trained, so that you get socialized into Illumine's unique perspectives on business & human transformation at scale.- You will participate in some of Illumine's breakthrough consulting & intervention projects.- This experience will help you become familiar with Illumine's innovative knowledge technologies & cognitive models and align with it's core values of client contribution, integrity, continuous innovation and respectfulness.About the Illumine TeamYou will be part of a multi-disciplinary team aspiring to make a big difference in the lives of citizens.
