You will be the point person working cross functionally with our marketing, product, and engineering teams to develop dynamic email campaigns and use data to leverage results. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and is able to execute projects from strategy to completion. RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and maintain marketing/transactional emailsUtilize HTML/CSS and email marketing best practices to create and code interactive experiences for email. Develop/modify email templates and existing campaigns.Build and optimize dynamic, data-driven email marketing campaigns and contribute to the continued modernization of the email channel.Apply the best practices in email development, email compliance regulations, and accessibility.Execute email campaigns with a heavy emphasis on customer segmentation, testing protocol, and technical execution.Ensure identical rendering across browsers, ESPs, and devices.Troubleshoot HTML, CSS, and other performance issues. Troubleshoot data, templates, and logic issuesContinuously optimize the development of email templateAnalyze and report on data trends and make recommendations to enhance email marketing performanceExecute ongoing A/B testing regimen to improve email performance and engagementOwnership of developing and managing email strategy, data and driving performanceQUALIFICATIONS5 years of relevant email development work experience.Advanced knowledge and understanding of HTML/CSS.Knowledge of e-campaign best practices including responsive coding formatting, A/B testing, and reportingExperience with email marketing and automation platforms — familiarity with MessageGears preferred, but experience with other major ESPs (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SAP Marketing Cloud, Acoustic, Adobe Campaign, Marketo etc.) is also valued.Experience with email optimization tools, Litmus or Email on AcidProven experience with data analysis of email campaignsProven experience in creating and optimizing email workflows and automation journeys to drive engagement and improve campaign performance.Strong project management skills and understanding how to manage priorities of multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environmentKnowledgeable on email compliance regulations.Familiarity with email marketing and marketing automation technology.At Career.io, we believe that diversity in thought and cultural background leads to better teams and stronger companies.
