Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BASIS Expert to join our dynamic team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and supporting complex SAP environments, ensuring optimal system performance, and providing exceptional technical support.

This role requires a deep understanding of SAP BASIS administration, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- SAP System Administration: Manage and maintain SAP systems, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and other relevant components.

- This involves installation, configuration, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.

- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance and identify bottlenecks to ensure optimal operation of SAP systems.

- Implement strategies to enhance system efficiency and responsiveness.

- Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to SAP BASIS, including system errors, performance problems, connectivity issues, and security vulnerabilities.

- User Management: Handle user administration tasks, including creating and managing user accounts, roles, and authorizations.

- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

- System Security: Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect SAP systems from unauthorized access and data breaches.

- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.

- Backup and Recovery: Develop and execute comprehensive backup and recovery plans to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity.

- System Integration: Manage the integration of SAP systems with other applications and third-party tools.

- Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.

- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

- Provide clear and concise documentation for knowledge sharing and future reference.

- Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT team members.

- Respond promptly to support requests and resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications and Experience :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration, with a strong understanding of SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and BW systems.

- Proven expertise in SAP system installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.

- Deep knowledge of SAP BASIS concepts, including operating systems, databases, networking, and security.

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience with SAP Solution Manager and other monitoring tools is a plus.

- A certification in SAP BASIS or a related field is preferred.

Desired Skills :

- Experience with cloud-based SAP environments (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) is a valuable asset.

- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. ABAP, Shell, Python) for automation and customization.

- Familiarity with SAP HANA and its administration is a plus
