Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Controller (CA) to join our finance team in the construction sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial audits, handling bank-related matters independently, coordinating with site teams, and finalizing company accounts. Prior experience in the construction industry is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit Management:

    • Lead and manage quarterly audits conducted by banking and financial institutions
    • Ensure timely and accurate audit of Bank Guarantees and other financial instruments

  • Banking & Financial Liaison:

    • Independently manage all banking correspondence and documentation
    • Maintain strong liaison with banking professionals for credit lines, guarantees, and other financial services
    • Coordinate with banks for regular compliance and reporting requirements

  • Site Coordination:

    • Collaborate with project/site personnel to gather relevant financial data and ensure alignment with company policies
    • Monitor and validate site-level expenditures, project costs, and budgeting practices

  • Accounts Finalization:

    • Maintain end-to-end oversight of the accounting function
    • Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records and finalization of books of accounts as per statutory requirements
    • Assist in statutory audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance
Candidate Requirements:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong understanding of finance in the construction industry
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a project-based or construction environment
  • In-depth knowledge of bank audits, financial instruments, and industry-specific financial processes
  • Proficient in financial software and accounting systems
  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines
