Job Title:Lead Automation Test Engineer Location:Bangalore Experience:7–10 years Reports To:Engineering ManagerRole Overview We are seeking ahighly skilled Lead Automation Test Engineerwith strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks forAPI and UI testingacross cloud and AI-driven platforms. The ideal candidate has deep technical experience in Python-based automation, CI/CD integration, and cross-functional collaboration in Agile environments.Key Responsibilities Automation Framework Design & Maintenance: Develop and enhance scalable, modular test automation frameworks usingPython, Selenium WebDriver, Pytest, and Allure Reportsfor UI and API testing. End-to-End Quality Ownership: DriveSmoke, Sanity, Regression, and UATtesting cycles for complex systems ensuring product quality and stability before release. API & Integration Testing: LeveragePostman, Swagger, JMeter , and Python libraries for functional, performance, and integration testing of REST APIs. Continuous Integration & Deployment: Integrate automation suites withJenkins CI/CD pipelines , ensuring seamless automated builds, reports, and test execution. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to define test strategies, prioritize issues, and ensure test coverage across releases. Agile QA Leadership: Participate inSprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Daily Standups , contributing to QA best practices and continuous improvement. Cloud & AI Testing Exposure: Validate data-driven and ML-based systems acrossAzure / AWS / GCP , including AI-powered application workflows.Required Skills & Experience 7–10 years of experience inAutomation & Manual Testing , preferably in SaaS, AI, or Cloud environments. Strong hands-on experience inPython ,Selenium WebDriver ,Pytest ,Jenkins ,Postman , andJMeter . Experience building and maintainingend-to-end test automation frameworksfrom scratch. Sound understanding ofSDLC, STLC, and Agile / Scrummethodologies. Familiarity withMySQL / MongoDBdatabases andGitHub / GitLabsource control. Exposure toperformance testing ,security validation , andcross-browser/device compatibility . Excellent analytical, debugging, and documentation skills. Proven ability to work independently and mentor junior QA members.Preferred Qualifications B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Experience withAI / ML-based testing ,video/audio processing systems , orcloud-native architectures . Knowledge ofDocker ,Kubernetes , orCI observability tools . ISTQB or equivalent QA certification (a plus).Key Attributes Strong ownership mindset with detail orientation. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments. Passion for automation, innovation, and process improvement. Excellent verbal and written communication.
