About the Position:

We are seeking a highly motivated AVP – Enterprise Sales to drive the growth of our low-code technology offerings within the Insurance and Banking sectors across India. Our solutions include application development, process automation, integration services, and more, with a strong focus on platforms like OutSystems. This role requires a deep understanding of low-code technologies and a robust network within the industry to effectively promote and sell our services.


Key Responsibilities:

Market Development & Client Acquisition:

  • Identify and acquire new clients in the Insurance and Banking sectors across India. Take ownership of independent revenue targets and drive growth in these segments.
  • Target key challenges and industry problems within the Insurance and Banking sectors where our low-code solutions, particularly OutSystems, can deliver significant impact.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities, focusing on new accounts in the mid-tier and enterprise spaces.
  • Leverage existing industry connections to secure quick wins, particularly in servicing and maintenance contracts across various technologies and platforms.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies to expand our presence and drive adoption of our low-code platform.
  • Understand the IT landscape of target customers, including their strategic initiatives and key challenges, and tailor our Low-Code platform offerings to meet their needs.
  • Manage the entire sales process from initial contact through contract negotiation and closure, ensuring a seamless client experience.

Strategic Partnerships:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IT leaders, decision-makers, and industry influencers within the Insurance and Banking sectors.
  • Collaborate with technology partners and vendors to enhance Damco Solutions' low-code offerings and create joint go-to-market strategies.
  • Pursue opportunities for strategic partnerships that can drive business growth and expand our market reach.
  • Build and nurture relationships with Account Executives (AEs) and partner managers of various platforms, positioning our Low-Code platform as a trusted solution for delivery.


Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives within the Insurance and Banking sectors.
  • Present Damco Solutions' low-code solutions to clients, clearly demonstrating the value and impact of our technology on their business processes.
  • Work closely with internal technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Market Intelligence:

  • Stay informed about the latest developments in low-code technology, particularly OutSystems, as well as industry trends and customer needs within the Insurance and Banking sectors.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team at Damco Solutions to help shape our low-code offerings and ensure alignment with market demands.
  • Analyze market data to identify emerging opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.

Reporting & Performance Management:

  • Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback to senior management at Damco Solutions.
  • Regularly review sales activities and outcomes to ensure alignment with business goals, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of business development initiatives.


Desired Skills and Competencies:

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in selling project-based technology services, with a proven track record in selling low-code solutions, particularly in the Insurance and Banking sectors.
  • Strong ability to drive results through outbound sales strategies, including account-based marketing and relationship building.
  • Deep understanding of low-code impacts and familiarity with industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels, including senior executives and IT leaders.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles, from lead generation to deal closure, and navigating varied sales cycles effectively.
  • Experience in selling sizable service and maintenance contracts as well as new digital initiatives powered by platforms or native technologies.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with a focus on long-term customer engagement.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and stakeholders.
  • High level of energy and self-motivation, capable of working independently or as part of a distributed team.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in guiding internal teams during pre-sales and account management phases.
