Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux + C++ Developer to join our team in Mumbai (BKC).

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of robust and efficient applications primarily within a Linux environment.

Your expertise in C++, Unix shell scripting, Oracle databases (SQL and PL/SQL), and Python will be crucial for success.

This is a 5-day work week position based in Mumbai, and we are looking for candidates who can join immediately.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement high-performance applications and system components using C++ in a Linux environment.

- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable C++ code adhering to coding standards and best practices.

- Debug and troubleshoot complex C++ applications on Linux systems.

- Optimize C++ applications for performance and scalability within the Linux environment.

- Develop and maintain efficient Unix shell scripts (e., Bash, Shell) for automation of tasks, system administration, and process management within the Linux environment.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to shell scripts.

- Design, develop, and maintain database schemas and objects in Oracle.

- Write complex and optimized SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting.

- Develop and implement PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

- Understand and apply database performance tuning techniques.

- Utilize Python for scripting, automation, data processing, and potentially integration with other systems.

- Write clear and efficient Python code for various tasks.

- Collaborate effectively with other developers, system administrators, database administrators, and project managers.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

- Analyze and resolve technical issues across different layers of the application stack (C++, Linux, database, scripting).

- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed components, scripts, and database objects.

- Follow company standards, processes, and guidelines for software development and deployment.

Required Skills :

- Strong proficiency in C++ programming language with a solid understanding of object-oriented principles and software design patterns.

- Good working knowledge of the Linux operating system, including command-line interface, system utilities, and development tools.

- Proven ability to write and maintain effective Unix shell scripts (e., Bash, Shell).

- Solid experience in working with Oracle databases, writing complex SQL queries, and developing PL/SQL code.

- Good scripting skills in Python for automation and other tasks.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
