About the Role :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Python Developer to be a key part of our backend development team. As a Python developer, you will be responsible for building APIs, backend services, and scalable architecture that powers modern web and mobile applications. You will work closely with DevOps, frontend developers, product managers, and QA to deliver robust backend services for mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance backend applications using Python

- Build scalable and secure RESTful APIs and microservices using Flask, Django, or FastAPI

- Work with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) to design schemas and optimize performance

- Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control in backend systems

- Create automated unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups

- Maintain system documentation, API contracts, and deployment playbooks

- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues with DevOps and QA

- Contribute to code reviews and mentor junior engineers when needed

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Strong Python programming experience (3+ years), with hands-on expertise in Django, Flask, or FastAPI

- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, HTTP protocols, and middleware

- Experience working with PostgreSQL or MySQL and knowledge of query optimization

- Proficiency in Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines

- Knowledge of multithreading, asynchronous programming (asyncio), and caching

- Understanding of microservice architecture and API gateways

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience integrating third-party APIs, OAuth2, and webhooks

- Familiarity with message queues like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Redis Pub/Sub

- Exposure to Kubernetes and AWS/GCP/Azure

- Knowledge of GraphQL, gRPC is a plus
