In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high quality software solutions that align with business objectives and user needs. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, and stay current with emerging technologies to drive innovation. - This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering robust, scalable, and efficient code.Essential Job Functions:- Design and develop high-level software architecture, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards. - Create architectural blueprints, design patterns, and frameworks for the development team to follow. - Actively participate in the software development process alongside the development team, writing high-quality, scalable, and efficient code. - Lead by example in adopting best coding practices and standards. - Provide overall technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, assisting in problem-solving and decision-making. - Ensure the team adheres to architectural principles and best practices. - Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment. - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure the product meets functional and non-functional requirements. - Develop and implement automation strategies to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes. - Utilize tools and frameworks to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency Supervise the maintenance and updating of existing codebases, ensuring code quality, security, and performance. - Implement strategies for refactoring, code optimization, and technical debt management. - Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team, promoting innovation and the adoption of new tools and methodologies to enhance the development process. - Participate in Agile Ceremonies , team workshops Drive Automation and Security first as part of software engineering cultureQualifications:- Programming languages: C or J2EE - Programming languages: Python (Good to have) - Expertise in system level debugging and J2EE application debugging - Web development (Ex JavaStruts/ Angular / Node JS) - Expertise in system bring-up / fine tuning of services - Exposure to Security Aspects of a Product - Exposure to Agile methodologies - Ability to troubleshoot and narrow down complex issues including scale. - Expertise in Developing and debugging Network programming/application - Exposure to Networking protocol and Application protocol like SIP - Exposure to Collobaration solutions and deployments in the VoIP industry - Hands on Experience with Code - Should have experience working with Java applications running on virtual machines on Linux OS.
