Manager - Finance Open Secret:

Open Secret is a fast-growing B2C food brand on a mission to create India's leading house of better-for-you snacks. As we scale rapidly across online marketplaces, quick commerce, and offline retail, we need strong financial discipline, robust processes, and accurate reporting to support growth.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1-3 years of experience to join our finance team. This role goes beyond accounting - it is about building scalable processes, strengthening controls, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting in a high-growth consumer brand environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Closures & Reporting:

- Drive timely and accurate monthly and annual closure of books.

- Prepare management reports on revenue, margins, and costs for leadership review.

- Ensure accuracy of reconciliations across sales channels (modern trade, e-commerce, quick commerce, GT).

Compliance & Governance:

- Ensure all statutory compliances (GST, TDS, Companies Act filings) are met on time.

- Coordinate with auditors for statutory and tax audits.

- Establish and monitor approval workflows and compliance calendars.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

- Build structured processes for vendor payments, claims, and settlements.

- Implement systematic follow-ups and reconciliations for collections from channel partners.

- Reduce leakages in trade spends, discounts, and deductions through stronger checks.

Cash Flow & Working Capital:

- Monitor receivables, payables, and inventory to improve working capital cycles.

- Build simple but effective cash flow monitoring processes.

Process Building & Controls:

- Identify gaps in current finance processes and design SOPs for accuracy and efficiency.

- Set up standard reconciliations (bank, channel partners, inventory, GRNs) to ensure integrity of financial data.

- Build finance processes that can scale with growth, reducing reliance on manual interventions.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience.

- Experience in FMCG / Consumer Tech / D2C / E-commerce will be an advantage (but not mandatory).

- Strong foundation in accounting, taxation, and compliance.

- Process-oriented mindset with an eye for detail.
