Job Summary :

The PHP, Laravel, and Node.js Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance backend applications using PHP, Laravel, and Node.js. This role requires a strong understanding of both PHP and Node.js ecosystems, database management, and API integration. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with a passion for writing clean, efficient, and scalable code.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain robust and scalable backend applications using PHP, Laravel, and Node.js.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

- Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party services.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure optimal performance and stability.

- Design and implement efficient database schemas in MySQL.

- Write optimized SQL queries and stored procedures.

- Perform database performance tuning and optimization.

- Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality.

- Develop and maintain API documentation.

- Utilize Git for version control, code collaboration, and deployment.

- Follow best practices for branching, merging, and code reviews.

- Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality.

- Participate in code reviews to maintain code standards and best practices.

- Adhere to web security standards and best practices to protect applications from vulnerabilities.

- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

- Work within a team environment.

- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues.

- Debug and optimize code for performance and efficiency.

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in PHP, including object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

- In-depth experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel.

- Knowledge of Composer.

- In-depth knowledge of Node.js and its ecosystem.

- Experience with Express.js or similar frameworks.

- Solid understanding of MySQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

- Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.

- Proficiency in using Git for version control.

- Knowledge of web security standards and best practices.

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- Adaptable, with a willingness to learn new technologies and approaches.

Desirable Skills (Optional) :

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.

- Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React or Next.js.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerization tools like Docker.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.

- Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.

Qualifications :

- Minimum 2.5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer (PHP + Node.js).

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
