A leading software consultancy is seeking a seasoned Engagement Manager to oversee complex client engagements and ensure the delivery of high-quality, value-driven digital solutions. This role blends strategic account management with deep delivery expertise, working closely with cross-functional teams to support enterprise clients through their digital transformation journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Delivery Oversight-
- Lead the engagement end-to-end, ensuring alignment with client objectives and delivering measurable value.
- Act as a strategic partner to clients, especially at C-level
- Build trust by deeply understanding client objectives and ensuring delivery aligns with business goals
- Manage difficult conversations with empathy and confidence
- Lead across functions, ensuring cross-team collaboration and effective stakeholder management
- Demonstrated success in a similar role within software consulting or agile delivery environments.
- Collaborate with Delivery Managers to meet delivery expectations and maintain consistency across teams.
- Act as a primary escalation point and build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Conduct regular engagement reviews and define long-term partnership strategies.
- Support transformation initiatives and identify opportunities for continued improvement and growth.
- Oversee account profitability, budget planning, and billing processes.
Team Collaboration
- Coordinate internal staffing for engagements and support onboarding of new team members.
- Maintain high levels of consultant satisfaction through ongoing check-ins and feedback.
- Resolve high-level blockers and ensure strong team dynamics on-site.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and cross-account collaboration.
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience managing enterprise client relationships in complex delivery scenarios.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on understanding of agile methodologies and delivery practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Financial management skills with experience in budgeting and performance tracking.
- Prior experience in hands-on delivery roles (engineering, QA, analysis, or project management) is preferred.
- Familiarity with navigating multi-vendor and large-scale organisational environments.
