About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced MERN Stack Developer who is passionate about building scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, Next.js, React.js, and MongoDB along with solid understanding of backend and frontend best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js/Next.js, Node.js).

- Build RESTful APIs and work with both frontend and backend components.

- Develop reusable components and ensure high performance across platforms.

- Implement server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) with Next.js.

- Write clean, modular, and optimized code.

- Ensure proper security, authentication, and authorization in applications.

- Optimize applications for speed and scalability.

- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, mobile developers, and product managers.

- Work with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development.

- Strong knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, Next.js, React.js, and MongoDB.

- Solid experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.

- Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend practices.

- Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux / Context API).

- Knowledge of database design, indexing, and optimization with MongoDB.

- Experience with Git, code reviews, and agile methodologies.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with TypeScript.

- Knowledge of GraphQL.

- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).

- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, or microservices architecture. (ref:hirist.tech)
