Role Overview
The General Physician will be responsible for diagnosing and managing a wide range of medical conditions, providing preventive care, and ensuring effective treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. The role involves outpatient consultations, inpatient care, and coordination with specialists to ensure holistic patient management.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions across all age groups.
- Provide preventive care, health screenings, and lifestyle modification counseling.
- Manage chronic illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes, respiratory diseases, and infectious diseases.
- Offer medical consultation for general health concerns and routine check-ups.
- Collaborate with specialists and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure proper documentation of patient history, diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow-ups.
- Stay updated with the latest medical advancements and participate in continuing medical education programs.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, ethical guidelines, and quality control measures.
