Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and enhance Looker dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business needs.

- Build robust LookML models, optimize data workflows, and ensure data accuracy.

- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality and accessibility.

- Gather business requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.

- Implement best practices in data modeling, including SQL queries and LookML development.

- Continuously improve existing Looker dashboards based on user feedback and evolving business requirements.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and analysts.

- Troubleshoot issues related to data accuracy, performance, and visualization rendering.

- Stay updated with the latest Looker features and improvements.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience working as a Looker Developer or in a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of LookML and Looker architecture.

- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and performance optimization.

- Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake).

- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.

- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Familiarity with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

- Experience in data governance and data security best practices.
