At Broadside, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Team Leaders for the smooth operations and maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance. This role consists of desk work providing you with a well-rounded experience in the maritime industry.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in Client communication regarding coordination and follow up.
  • Assist Leadership in day-to-day tasks and ad hoc jobs.
  • Conduct quality and compliance assessments.
  • Prepare audit reports under supervision of the team leader.

 

Job Requirements

  • 2nd Mate (FG) CoC
  • Sailing experience as a OOW with at least 12 months of sea time is a must.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance in the maritime industry.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in computers and good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe, Power point, Excel, Power BI etc.
  • An ability to work to deadlines and able to do multi-tasking.
  • Must be able to work in a team-based environment and to work with all levels of people.
  • Resourceful, meticulous, well-organized and ability to work independently.
  • Possess a mature personality with interpersonal and organizational skills.
