Job Role: Pre-Silicon Verification Lead – PSS/UVM/C

Experience: 5 to 8 Years

Location: Bangalore

We are looking for a Pre-Silicon Verification Lead who will work on verifying complex chip-level systems before they are manufactured. You will write and run test cases using PSS, C, or SystemVerilog/UVM, work with simulation and emulation tools, and help ensure the quality of SoCs used in real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand system-level verification needs from customers.
  • Develop test scenarios using PSS, C, or SystemVerilog/UVM.
  • Run tests in pre-silicon environments (simulation/emulation).
  • Run tests in post-silicon environments (on actual hardware).
  • Debug and fix any test failures.
  • Estimate tasks, support timely delivery, and guide the team.
  • Mentor junior engineers in PSS and verification techniques.

Required Skills:

  • Strong C programming skills for embedded systems.
  • Ability to read hardware datasheets and create basic drivers.
  • Experience with pre-silicon validation in simulation/emulation tools.
  • Good knowledge of protocols like PCIe, USB, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, GPIO.
  • Hands-on with emulators such as Zebu, Palladium, or Veloce.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience in SystemVerilog/UVM or PSS.
  • Understanding of complex I/O protocols and SoC power management.
  • Previous customer-facing experience.
