Job Title : Manager Software Development Engineer III.

Location : Mumbai.

Employment Type : Full-time.

Overview :

As a Lead Software Developer at Purplle.com, you'll be pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance software solutions.

Collaborating with a cross-functional team of engineers, you'll leverage your expertise in Golang, Node.js, PHP, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, and Google Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Golang, Node.js, and PHP.

- Create and optimize database schemas and queries using MySQL and MongoDB.

- Implement caching solutions with Redis.

- Integrate and collaborate with event streaming platforms like Kafka.

- Lead and collaborate with team members on complex product solutions.

- Take ownership of projects from inception to deployment.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams for deployment on GCP, AWS, and Kubernetes.

- Mentor your team and provide technical guidance.

- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project goals.

- Solve complex technical challenges and contribute to software development practices' continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

- 5-7 years of software development experience, preferably in a product-based company.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer/IT Engineering or a related field.

- Proficiency in Golang and Node.js.

- Knowledge of PHP is a plus.

- Strong understanding of MySQL, Redis, Kafka, MongoDB, and data structures.

- Experience with GCP, AWS, and Kubernetes is advantageous.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong problem-solving and logical thinking abilities.

- Ability to work on complex, end-to-end software projects.

- Team player with independent work capabilities.

- Proven ability to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality software.

- Bonus points for experience in a product-based company, particularly in the e-commerce domain.
