About the Role

We are seeking a talented Scala Developer to join our dynamic team at Capgemini. This role is crucial for designing and developing scalable, high-performance applications that focus on reliability and efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance applications with a focus on reliability and efficiency.
  • Engage in all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and release.
  • Write well-designed, testable, and maintainable code.
  • Perform software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
  • Manage application development in Scala, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
  • Prepare and release software components while maintaining code quality.
  • Support continuous improvement by exploring and recommending new technologies.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


Required Skills

  • Proven proficiency in Scala programming.
  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience in Scala application development.
  • Strong knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
  • Experience with web frameworks such as Play, Akka, or Spark.
  • Familiarity with test-driven development and software engineering tools.
  • Excellent documentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
