Experience: 8-10 YearsRole Overview: As a Database Administrator, you will design, implement, and maintain secure, high-availability databases powering our AI-driven platforms and industry solutions. You will work closely with engineering, product, and data science teams to optimize complex datasets, ensure compliance, and support agile innovation for mission-critical financial applications.Key Responsibilities: Design, install, configure, and upgrade SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, etc.) to support AI and analytics workloads. Ensure data security, strong access control, regular backups, and robust disaster recovery protocols, with attention to sensitive financial data. Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot database performance to meet demanding SLAs in real-time financial and compliance environments. Collaborate with developers and AI/ML engineers on schema design, data migrations, ETL pipelines, and support for GenAI/RAG workloads. Maintain audit logs, support regulatory compliance (GDPR, RBI, etc.), and prepare for internal/external data reviews. Automate routine operational tasks and document best practices, controls, and recovery processes. Participate in incident response and on-call rotations for critical database issues. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years managing enterprise relational and/or NoSQL databases in production. Experience with database performance tuning, security, scripting/automation, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Working knowledge of backup/recovery strategies, database migrations, and high-availability configurations. Bonus: Familiarity with data governance in AI/ML workflows, large language model (LLM) storage, or supporting financial services data needs.
