⚡We’re Hiring: Senior Systems Test Engineer – BMS / EV Battery Systems Location:MVM Plaza, 1st BB Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka Experience:3 – 8 Years Work Mode:OfficeAbout the Role We are looking for aSenior Systems Test Engineerto join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring theverification and validation (V&V)ofEV battery packs, Battery Energy Management Systems (BEMs), and Battery Management Systems (BMS) . You will definetest strategies , lead test activities, interpret complex test data, and provide risk mitigation insights, directly impacting the delivery ofsafe, reliable, and high-performance battery systems .Key Responsibilities Develop and ownDesign Verification/Validation Plans & Reports (DVVPRs)aligned to product requirements and regulatory standards Execute test campaigns and ensure rigorous adherence to plans, protocols, and compliance standards Validate, document, and trace all test results to system-level requirements and stakeholder expectations Ensure alignment withASPICE process maturityand relevant industry standards (UN ECE R100, UN 38.3, ISO 12405, etc.) Support regulatory compliance fortype approvals, homologation, and functional safety Define, maintain, and implement test equipment requirements and automated testing solutions Leadroot cause analysis , corrective actions, and risk mitigation activities Collaborate withDesign, Quality, Manufacturing, and Software teamsfor effective integration of test feedbackRequired Skills & Experience Proven experience intest engineering, validation, or verification roles , particularly inautomotive, EV battery systems, or high-voltage powertrain domains Degree (BEng, MEng, MSc) inElectrical, Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, or related engineering disciplines Knowledge ofHV battery safety, electrical, mechanical, and thermal testing methodologies Experience withDVVPRs, ASPICE, ISO 12405, ISO 6469 , and other battery testing regulations Proficiency infailure analysis techniques , root cause identification, and corrective actions Prior experience inglobal vehicle programsand compliance frameworks (UNECE, FMVSS, AIS standards) Strongcommunication, collaboration, and leadership skillsApply Now – Send your resume to: Shital.jakkulwar@tatatechnologies.com Include in your application: Total & Relevant Experience Current & Preferred Location Current CTC & Expected CTC Notice Period (Immediate to 30 days preferred) Last Working Day (if serving / already left) Reason for any recent career gaps
