We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our team in Bangalore or Vadodara.

As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for the installation, implementation, upgrade, and support of all components of the SAP system.

You will work independently and collaboratively to ensure the smooth operation of our SAP landscape.

Responsibilities :

Database Expertise :

- Expert in Oracle and SAP HANA database administration.

- Experience in managing database performance, security, and backups.

Technical Expertise :

- Proven experience with Linux scripting and Windows platform administration.

- Experience in performing SAP system copies for ABAP and Java-based systems.

- Experience in applying EHP upgrades, Support Pack upgrades, Kernel upgrades, and other system updates.

- Exposure to non-SAP technologies like Apache Tomcat, Tableau, and Trackwise.

- Experience in installing and configuring SAP Solution Manager.

SAP System Management :

- Take responsibility for the installation, implementation, upgrade, and support of all SAP components.

Perform day-to-day Basis activities including:

- Transport request management

- File transfers and support for peripheral systems

- Organizing system restarts and outages

- Daily health checks

Collaboration and Communication:

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent coordination skills with other functional and technical consultants, both onshore and offshore.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (BE/BCA/BSc. IT/MCA/Any Graduate)

- 7+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Consultant

- Strong understanding of SAP Basis concepts and functionalities

- Expertise in Oracle and SAP HANA database administration

- Experience with Linux scripting and Windows platform administration

- Experience in performing SAP system copies (ABAP & Java)

- Experience in applying SAP upgrades (EHP, Support Packs, Kernel)

- Familiarity with non-SAP technologies (Apache Tomcat, Tableau, Trackwise) (Plus)

- Experience with SAP Solution Manager installation and configuration (Plus)

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

- Experience working in a production support environment with strict SLAs
