Location : Pune, IndiaJob Summary :We are seeking a visionary Azure Architect to join our team in Pune.The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in Microsoft Azure, responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions for enterprise-level clients.This is a senior-level role that requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture, DevOps, and a strategic mindset to drive cloud adoption and transformation.Key Responsibilities :- Design and lead the implementation of enterprise-level cloud architectures on the Microsoft Azure platform.- Define and enforce best practices for Azure infrastructure, networking, security, and governance.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and architectural blueprints.- Oversee the development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.- Act as a technical leader, providing guidance and mentorship to development and DevOps teams.- Conduct technical assessments, create migration strategies, and provide expert recommendations on cloud services.- Stay current with the latest Azure services, technologies, and trends to recommend innovative solutions.Required Skills & Qualifications :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- 10+ years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years in an Azure Architect role.- Extensive hands-on experience with core Azure services including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.- Deep expertise in Azure networking, security (Azure Active Directory, MFA, RBAC), and governance.- Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines).- Relevant Microsoft Azure certification(s) such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) is highly preferred.- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, global delivery environment (ref:hirist.tech)
