JOB DESCRIPTION


To conduct the Cooling and heating Thermal performance test, OCR test, Charge optimization on HVAC/Chiller system level with battery packs & rectifier systems.And setting In house Test facility adaptation for Electrical Vehicle ( EV) , Battery Cooling / Rectifier Cooling using existing test setup.


QUALIFICATION


B.E/ B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree from reputed institute with 7-12 years of experience in leading the overall Thermal Testing requirements.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Should lead the Thermal test set up starting from scratch & Good understanding of Sensors selection, calibration & its locations, error analysis.
  • Drive the schema and layout of the coolant and refrigerant piping and plumbing’s.
  • Hands on experience in using tools like Data logger, CAN tools for results extraction.
  • Should have good exposure in external testing off shoring based on internal lab facility.
  • Responsible for Thermal Testing (Chiller System Level, Component Level, Heater & Radiator calorimeter & durability test chambers).
  • Responsible for test Planning, Scheduling, Co-ordination, Whole R&D test lab & External test agencies .
  • Monitor the day to day customer requirements with mutual understanding the project leads & customers or suppliers.
  • Prepare the DVP test reports and submits the project leaders within the time line with commercials.
  • Responsible for Test Lab Instruments calibration and procure new instruments as per required new facility development.
  • To prepare the Test Facility guide lines, Work Instruction & 5S activities.
  • Test failure analysis, Root cause analysis and prepared LLC & RCA.


DESIRED SKILLS

  • Experienced in data analytics and prepare test summary and recommendations for validations.
  • Good understanding on electrical connection and general machine break downs.
  • Technical exposure in Thermal lab, Psychometric lab, Condenser calorimeter, Evaporator calorimeter, radiator & heater test rigs , Airflow test rigs and Wind tunnel (Climate control) LAB testing, Various durability test rigs and New test Rigs design & development based on customer demand.
  • Should have rich experience in Battery cooling system, Cold plate, Charger/Rectifier Cooling Testing on Automotive application & its Validation. AC system Installation, AC system performance, Troubleshooting, Instrumentation & application engineering as per International standard like DDS, JIS,ASHRE,SAE & Different OEM Std.
