Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Flutter Frontend Developer with expertise in backend integrations using Node.js to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing intuitive, visually appealing, and highly functional mobile and web applications using Flutter. You will play a key role in designing and implementing frontend components and ensuring seamless integration with backend services powered by Node.js.


This role requires a developer who is innovative, detail-oriented, and skilled in creating responsive UI/UX experiences while also being adept at collaborating with backend teams to ensure data-driven functionality.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, test, and deploy frontend applications for mobile and web platforms using Flutter.
  • Design and implement reusable and modular UI components, ensuring seamless user experiences across devices.
  • Integrate frontend components with RESTful APIs and WebSocket-based services built on Node.js.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to define and refine API contracts for smooth integration.
  • Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance optimization through best practices, including code reviews and testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues between frontend and backend systems.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and frameworks related to Flutter, Node.js, and frontend/backend integration.

Required Skills and QualificationsTechnical Skills

Frontend Development:

  • Proficiency in Flutter and Dart for building responsive and high-performance mobile/web apps.
  • Strong grasp of UI/UX design principles and Material Design guidelines.
  • Experience with state management solutions (e.g., Provider, Bloc, Riverpod).

Backend Integration:

  • In-depth experience integrating with APIs (RESTful and WebSockets) using tools like Dio or HTTP in Flutter.
  • Familiarity with backend service implementation in Node.js, understanding how backend systems work to better manage frontend-backend interactions.

Cross-Platform Development:

  • Expertise in ensuring compatibility across iOS, Android, and web platforms using Flutter.

Version Control:

  • Proficiency in Git for version control and collaborative development.

Testing and Debugging:

  • Experience with testing frameworks for Flutter (e.g., Widget Testing, Unit Testing).
  • Ability to debug effectively across frontend and backend.


Soft Skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, particularly when working with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced environments and complex project requirements.


Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of professional experience in Flutter development with Node.js integration.
  • Prior experience working with GraphQL and Firebase.
  • Familiarity with deployment pipelines for mobile apps (App Store, Google Play) and web apps.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
