Job Title: Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Tally Prime, GST data preparation, TDS knowledge, TDS data preparation, and bank reconciliation processes. This role will support our accounting department by ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with statutory requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update financial records using Tally Prime software.
  • Prepare and file GST returns accurately and timely.
  • Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and data preparation for submission.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of cash and bank balances.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Support audit processes by providing relevant documentation and reports.
  • Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Prior experience with Tally Prime is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of GST regulations and compliance.
  • Knowledge of TDS provisions and related statutory compliance.
  • Proficient in bank reconciliation and basic accounting principles.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in Tally Prime accounting software.
  • In-depth knowledge of GST data preparation and filing.
  • Understanding and application of TDS rules and data preparation.
  • Experience in performing bank reconciliations.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Basic accounting and bookkeeping skills.
