Role : Data test Engineer

Location : Bangalore

Work Mode : WFO

Job Description :

- Understand business functionalities and technical/database landscapes of the applications in scope under i360.

- Collaborate with Database Engineers and Data analysts to understand the requirements and testing requirements.

- Build and maintain test automation framework, create robust & maintainable test cases that cover various ETL processes, database systems and data analyses

- Implement Quality Engineering Strategies, best practices and guidelines ensuring scalability, reusability, and maintainability.

- Identifying, replicating, and reporting defects and verify defect fixes.

- Verify and validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency using ETL tools and SQL queries

- Pro-active, strong minded, Contribution motivated, adapt to changes & Strong Communication (Verbal & Written) Skills.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) :

- 3+ years' experience as Data test Engineer / ETL tester.

- Expertise in DB-related testing and ETL testing.

- Strong Python programming skills

- Strong SQL skills and experience working with ETL tools like pandas, great expectations.

- Knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases like Redshift, elastic search, OpenSearch, Postgres, snowflake.

- Good knowledge around analyzing population data and demographics.

- Strong knowledge in version control - Gitlab and pipeline integration.

- Strong attention to detail with ability to work under pressure, critical thinking skills and able to operate with minimal supervision.

- Contribution motivated

- Good Verbal & Written Communication skills.

- Good Mentorship and Knowledge sharing skills.

What Will Put You Ahead :

- Hands on experience with Jira.

- Good knowledge of Agile methodology.

- Hands on experience in Dev-Ops like Gitlab CI/CD pipeline

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Good knowledge of the current market trends
