Company Profile-

Baaz Bikes is a 2019 founded start-up by all IIT Delhi founding team. The complete founding team holds a strong product design experience owning to their involvement with the Formula Student team of IIT Delhi - Axlr8r Formula Racing, where they used to design and build electric racecars to compete in International and national competitions.


We are currently building India's most rugged EV ecosystem consisting of EV 2Wheelers, Swappable batteries, Automated swapping stations and the complete software suite containing fleet management tools and consumer facing apps knitting the whole ecosystem together. All of these products are designed and manufactured in-house, which further allows us to cater the market requirements very accurately and implement all the feedbacks from the market quickly.


Currently we are operating in South Delhi and Gurugram with a fleet of 800+ scooters and 60+ swap stations specifically targeting the commercial 2Wheeler space. We are looking to expand to numbers of 4000+ scooters and 250+ swap stations in the current year.


Company's vision primarily revolves around making rugged EV ecosystem, by tackling the market of commercial 2 wheelers first. Future products will majorly revolve around the same which will be higher energy batteries, faster charging stations, higher speed and power scooters etc.


About this Role:

This role supports the development of our in house products and is a part of the Structural Group in the Product Team . The successful applicant will actively participate in R&D projects by providing inputs for product development. This role will also require coordinating and working together with other teams in understanding product performance targets and supporting both immediate priorities as well as long-term product development goals.


Your Primary Responsibilities Involve:

  1. Figuring out correct boundary conditions using hand calculations and real world data
  2. Performing explicit analysis and providing insights based on its results
  3. Creating and executing test plans for validating simulation results
  4. Creating and managing material database
  5. Giving feedback for enhancing existing processes


Technical Attributes We Expect:

  1. Sound knowledge of Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Mathematics, Finite Element Method and Strength of Materials
  2. Good experience of working in Hyperworks, Radioss and LS-Dyna
  3. Having some experience in correlation of test data
  4. Knowledge of Model optimization techniques for explicit analysis


Qualification and Experience:

  1. Bachelors/Masters/ Phd in Mechanical/Automobile/Aerospace engineering
  2. 2-5 Years of relevant experience
