ACL Digital is hiring for Senior Data Engineer position.Experience - 8 to 10 yrs.Looking for Immediate Joiners only.Job Location - Whitefield, Bangalore.Work Mode : OnsiteKEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES :- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver actionable insights. - Deep understanding of system architecture, design patterns, scalability, and performance optimization. - Design, develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Qlik Sense. - Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) data from various sources/data marts into Qlik Sense. - Good understanding of SQL & able to write simple to moderate SQL queries. - Develop robust data models, including data transformations and scripting, for optimal performance and accuracy. - Optimize data models and dashboards for speed and efficiency. - Manage/control Qliksense securities using section access. - Ensures best practices are followed and code quality is high - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Domain experts, data engineers, and other developers to ensure successful project delivery. - Present insights and findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner. - Debug issues in the existing Qliksense Apps and ensure ongoing functionality. - Stay updated on the latest features and enhancements in Qliksense and other BI tools. - This role requires a mix of technical expertise in Qliksense and strong analytical and problem- solving skills to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. - Acts as a mentor for junior engineers, guiding them in technical skills and career development. - Often leads teams or project initiatives, driving technical decisions and strategy. - Plays a key role in the success of projects or even the entire product. - Responsible for identifying risks, addressing technical debt, and ensuring scalability and maintainability. - all required specifications and quality control documents as per SOP and processes. - Ensuring compliance with industry quality standards, regulations, guidelines, and procedures. - Demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop creative solutions that drive results. - Conveying information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, facilitating understanding and collaboration.Education/Language:- 7+ years of professional experience in a Services or Consulting role preferred - Bachelor's or Master's degree in science, technical or business discipline or equivalent experience preferred - 5+ years in QlikView and Qliksense development experience preferred - Understanding of Cloud/ Hybrid data architecture concepts is a plus - Prior experience in customer facing roles is a plus - Experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology/Life Science industry is a plusProfessional Skills& Experience:- Have critical observation and communication skills to Identify any gaps in processes or product - Ability to work with various technical and non-technical teams - Must be team oriented with strong collaboration, prioritization, and adaptability skills - Excellent knowledge of English; verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact with users and clients providing solutions - Experience in the Life Sciences industry, CRO / Clinical Trial regulated environment preferred - Experience in regulatory computer systems validation a strong plusTechnical Skills& Experience:- Proficient in SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL programming, Or R Package, or Python or SAS - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, specifically MS Project and MS Excel - Experience with multiple Database Platforms: Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, DB2 Oracle - Experience with Data Reporting Tools: QlikSense, QlikView, Spotfire, Tableau, JReview, Business Objects, Cognos, MicroStrategy, IBM DataStage, Informatica, Spark or related - Familiarity with other languages and concepts: .NET, C#, Python, R, Java, HTML, SSRS, AWS, Azure, Spark, REST APIs, Big Data, ETL, Data Pipelines, Data Modelling, Data Analytics, BI, Data Warehouse, Data Lake or related
