You will act as developer advocate & partner, to both represent developer's needs and also assist developers in adoption of cloud & emerging technologies. You will contribute to the evolution of ways of working & operating models that scale the organization and its technology adoption and utilization. As a cloud engineer, you will coach and mentor colleagues as part of a reciprocal relationship that ensures the entire team maintain a cutting-edge skillset.ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and maintain highly available and scalable GCP infrastructure to support our applications and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and operations, to architect and implement secure, efficient, and cost-effective solutions on GCP. Develop and enforce best practices for infrastructure as code, configuration management, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Monitor and troubleshoot GCP infrastructure performance, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization. Implement security measures and best practices to protect data and infrastructure, including identity and access management, network security, and data encryption. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and ensure seamless integration with GCP services. Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP technologies, trends, and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:Strong hands-on experience with ForgeRock/Ping IAM products (AM, IDM, IG, DS). Deep understanding of IAM architecture, integration methods, REST APIs, and directory services. Experience in Java development, Spring Boot, scripting and secure coding standards. Proven experience deploying, managing, and scaling applications in Kubernetes environments, particularly Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). Exposure to DevOps, version control, and CI/CD pipelines. Good understanding of Authentication, Authorization, MFA, SSO, Federation, OAuth, OIDC, Provisioning, Reconciliation, Proxy and Directory Services concepts. Should have knowledge of AD, LDAP, Database integration. Java development experience for customizations and enhancements of IAM systems, including writing secure, maintainable code to support authentication and authorization workflows. Knowledge of IAM solutions in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and how IAM integrates within those platforms. Experience with API security and integration using JSON, REST, and web services.
