Role Overview

We're looking for a CRO expert with strong front-end development and UX design skills to support our Shopify clients. You will lead funnel audits, hypothesis-driven tests, design & build optimized landing pages (wireframe through deployment), drive messaging strategy, and collaborate internally across our creative, paid media, and analytics teams. Ideal candidates thrive in a high-performance, client-centric environment and deliver measurable uplift across brands.

Responsibilities

  • Audit Shopify stores across multiple clients to surface conversion bottlenecks.
  • Recommend UX and messaging improvements backed by analytics (e.g. Shopify, GA4, Hotjar).
  • Design and develop high-converting Shopify landing pages and site templates using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and UX best practices. Please note that implementation is on the client side, we are focusing on the strategy and design component.
  • Create wireframes, style guides, and messaging alignment.
  • Set up and manage A/B and multivariate tests to validate changes on the client side.
  • Optimize page speed, responsiveness, and accessibility.
  • Generate monthly reports detailing CRO results and next-wave recommendations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with paid media and account leads.

Qualifications

Must‑have skills/experience:

  • Proven track record in e-commerce CRO, preferably on Shopify.
  • Analytical mindset: proficient in interpreting data to guide strategy.
  • Deep understanding of UX/UI best practices and customer journey mapping.
  • Experience with design tools like Figma, Photoshop, Adobe XD, Sketch.
  • HTML/CSS/JS, plus Shopify's Liquid preferred.
  • Comfortable working across multiple brands/projects in an agency setting.
  • Experience with CRO and analytics tools (Clarity, Hotjar, Google Optimize, VWO).

Nice-to-haves:

  • Familiarity with Shopify Plus and subscription platforms (e.g. Recharge).
  • Experience collaborating with paid media teams.
  • Basic SEO acumen for e-commerce.
  • Understanding of Klaviyo, email-based retention CRO.
