Senior Power Bi Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power BI Developer - Remote. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data visualization, dashboard development, and data integration using Power BI and Azure. Additionally, knowledge of Oracle Fusion and a background in Finance, HR, or Procurement processes. Experience in Agile methodologies, end-to-end BI project lifecycle, wireframe design, and applying UI/UX design standards will be critical for this position.This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable based on performance.Key Responsibilities:Power BI Development:- Design, develop, and maintain complex Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, HR, and Procurement, to gather requirements and deliver impactful data solutions. - Translate business requirements into technical specifications to design, build, and deploy custom reports. - Optimize Power BI performance by implementing best practices in data modeling and DAX calculations.End-to-End BI Lifecycle Management:- Manage and lead end-to-end BI projects from inception to deployment, including requirements gathering, solutiondesign, development, testing,and user acceptance. - Develop and document project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables. - Ensure project alignment with business goals, tracking progress, managing risks, and communicating with stakeholders. - Coordinate post-implementation reviews and incorporate feedback for future improvements.Wireframe and UI/UX Design:- Design wireframes and prototypes to guide the development of visually appealing and user-friendly PowerBI dashboards. - Ensure the application of UI/UX best practices and design standards, enhancing user experience throughintuitive navigation and interaction. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather feedback on design prototypes and incorporate changes for continuous improvement.Azure Data Integration:- Work with Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Data Lake, etc.) to build robust data pipelinesand integrate data sources. - Manage the end-to-end data integration process, from extraction to reporting, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.Oracle Fusion Expertise:- Leverage knowledge of Oracle Fusion (Finance, HR, and Procurement modules) to extract and analyze data, integrating it into Power BI dashboards. - Understand and implement data governance and security policies while working with Oracle Fusion data.Data Strategy & Collaboration:- Actively participate in defining and executing the data strategy for the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals. - Work closely with the Finance, HR, and Procurement teams to understand their data requirements and provide analytical insights to support decision-making. - Establish Power BI Dashboard Quality governance frameworks and ensure data quality across all reporting layers.Troubleshooting & Support:- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Power BI dashboards, data models, and Azure data pipelines. - Provide training and mentorship to junior team members and stakeholders on Power BI usage.Qualifications:- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Power BI dashboard development and data visualization. - Experience managing end-to-end BI lifecycle projects, from requirements gathering through deployment. - Experience working with Finance, HR, or Procurement data. - Hands-on experience with ETL and data integration, especially in cloud environments like Azure. - Proven experience designing wireframes and creating user-centered dashboards with a focus on usability and aesthetic design. - Advanced experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and custom visualizations. - Strong experience with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, etc.). - Experience in Oracle Fusion and its modules related to Finance, HR, and Procurement is an advantage. - Experience with wireframe design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Balsamiq) to create intuitive dashboard layouts. - Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and experience applying design standards to ensurea positive user experience. - Proficiency in SQL and understanding of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server). - Knowledge of data governance and best practices for data security. - Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics and data science workflows. - Certifications in Azure or Power BI are a plus.Availability:- Preference will be given to candidates available immediately or 30 days after accepting the offer.We are looking for a candidate who is able to work in the United Arab Emirates.Please apply with your updated resume and include your contact details.
