Job Description :


CIMET provides end-to-end comparison and signup solutions for energy and telecommunication plans in a B2B and B2C environment. Serving over 25 Energy and Broadband Providers and more than 30 white label and co-branded partners, CIMET has developed a fully integrated online comparison and signup platform.

CIMET's partnership with iSelect, which holds a 49% stake in CIMET Holdings, has fueled expansion into new product lines such as Credit Cards, Home Loans, Car Loans, Personal Loans, Life Insurance, Health Insurance, and Pet Insurance. Currently, CIMET has around 200 team members across Australia, India, and the Philippines, with plans to double this number over the next two years.

- Systems Challenges: CIMET is in the early phase of expansion where systems, processes, and policies are being developed and implemented.

- This means there will be constant changes occurring and you will need to be agile in your approach to changing business priorities.

Key Accountabilities :

- Design and build end-to-end workflow and data pipelines to support business processes and decision-making.

- Develop scalable business intelligence solutions to be used across multiple products.

- Integrate data from a variety of sources, including structured and unstructured data.

- Transform data to meet the needs of different units and stakeholders.

- Utilize ETL platforms to extract, transform, and load data.

- Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and accessibility through appropriate testing and quality checks.

- Develop Power BI reports and dashboards.

- Perform data transformation and analytics using Python.

- Demonstrate experience or certification in public cloud environments, preferably AWS.

- Experience in the full lifecycle of software development methodologies such as Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD.

- Solve data challenges at scale using data analysis, design, and integration skills with cutting-edge cloud technologies.

- Support clients in better managing their data using robust frameworks for governance and quality, enforcing these standards with powerful tools.

- Work with the wider business to influence data strategies, architecture, and design.

- Deliver insights from disparate data sources through analytics, data-mining, and real-time decision-making techniques and applications.

- Present data in meaningful ways to clients using the latest dashboarding and visualization technologies.

- Expertise in SQL, SQL tuning, schema design, Python, Kubernetes, and Airflow.

- Proficiency in data modeling using 3rd normal form, data vault, and dimensional modeling.

- Use frameworks such as serverless or dbt (data build tool).

- Deploy to AWS Cloud environments using technologies such as Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Glue, Athena, Redshift, or similar.

- Ability to work individually and in a small team, both in person and virtually.

- Curious and willing to learn new tools and techniques to enhance efficiency.
