Description :Role Expectations : Test Planning & Execution : - Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional and business requirements.- Conduct manual testing of mobile (iOS and Android) and web-based trading/FinTech applications.- Perform functional, integration, regression, UI/UX, and end-to-end testing across multiple environments.- Validate financial transactions, trade flows, and data consistency across back-end and front-end systems.Defect Management : - Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.- Work closely with the development team to reproduce, isolate, and resolve defects.- Participate in regular bug review and triage meetings.Domain-Specific Testing : - Verify trade execution, order matching, portfolio management, risk, and settlement functionalities.- Validate integrations with market data feeds, payment gateways, and third-party financial services.- Ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance of financial data and & Communication : - Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.- Contribute to test documentation, release notes, and quality metrics.- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives (Agile/Scrum).Quality Improvement : - Provide feedback on usability and suggest improvements to enhance product quality.- Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with internal or external stakeholders.- Support continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and techniques.Qualifications : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.- 3 - 6 years of experience in Manual QA for FinTech or Trading platforms (e., stock trading, forex, crypto, wealth management, or payment systems).- Strong understanding of trading workflows (order lifecycle, execution, settlement, etc.- Experience testing Mobile Apps (iOS & Android) and Web applications.- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).- Proficiency with QA tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.- Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools (basic level desirable).- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to identify edge cases.- Excellent communication and documentation skills.- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (ref:hirist.tech)
