Position Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud, DevOps & Kubernetes Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available cloud and Kubernetes platforms. This role combines cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps automation, Kubernetes platform development, and developer experience enablement. You will work closely with platform, application, and SRE teams to deliver reliable infrastructure, automate CI/CD pipelines, build Kubernetes-native tooling, and ensure production-grade observability, security, and cost efficiency at scale.Job Responsibilities :Role Overview: Design, build, and operate scalable, secure, highly available cloud and Kubernetes platforms; collaborate with platform, app, and SRE teams Cloud & Infrastructure: Architect and manage AWS infrastructure with high availability, DR, multi-region design, and cost optimization Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Build standardized Terraform-based infrastructure and automate operations using scripting languages DevOps, CI/CD & GitOps: Develop CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows to ensure reliable, consistent, and fast deployments Containers & Kubernetes: Operate production-grade Kubernetes (EKS/on-prem), manage cluster lifecycle, add-ons, Docker images, and Helm charts Kubernetes Platform Development: Build custom controllers, operators, and CRDs; manage API lifecycle and scalability Security & Governance: Enforce RBAC, security policies, supply-chain security, and secure networking Observability & Operations: Implement monitoring and observability, handle incidents, RCA, and on-call supportRequired Skills and Qualifications:6+ years of experience as aDevOps Engineer, SRE, or related software engineering role , supporting production-grade systems. Strong hands-on experience withcloud infrastructure on GCP (preferred) or AWS . Proven expertise in operatingKubernetes-based platformsin production environments ( GKE preferred ). Solid experience designing and maintaininghighly available and resilient systemsusing SRE best practices. Hands-on knowledge ofSLIs, SLOs, error budgets , and reliability engineering principles. Strong experience withobservability and monitoring tools , including Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, OpenTelemetry, and log platforms such as Loki / ELK / OpenSearch. Demonstrated experience inincident management, on-call support, root cause analysis, and postmortems . Proficiency inautomation and tooling using Python , with additional scripting experience in Shell or Groovy. Experience integratingCI/CD pipelines(Jenkins, GitHub) with deployment, monitoring, and reliability checks. Strong understanding ofmicroservices architectures, distributed systems , and containerized workloads. Hands-on experience withInfrastructure as Code (IaC)tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Good knowledge ofcloud networking, security fundamentals, and access controls . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive operational mindset. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.
