Container Platform Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Container Platform Engineer to design, implement, and manage robust container infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Youll work closely with development and operations teams to ensure our platforms are scalable, secure, and reliable, while driving automation and observability across the stack.Key Responsibilities :- Design, build, and operate scalable, resilient, and secure containerized infrastructure using tools like Kubernetes and Docker.- Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines, emphasizing reliability, automation, and speed of delivery.- Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and incident response to ensure 24/7 system availability.- Collaborate with development teams to optimize containerized application performance.- Perform capacity planning and cost optimization for container workloads across environments.- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and post-incident reviews to continuously improve system resilience.- Harden container platforms to meet security, compliance, and resilience standards.- Automate infrastructure provisioning and operations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.Required Skills & Experience :- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, OpenShift) and Docker.- Deep understanding of Linux systems, networking, and container orchestration.- Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Python, Bash, or Go.- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.- Familiarity with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-native architectures.- Solid experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or similar.- Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, Helm, Ansible.Preferred Qualifications :- Certification in Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) or relevant cloud technologies.- Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).- Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools.
