As part of our growth we are seeking an experienced Stay updated with the latest market trends and industry innovations in solar Procurement Engineer to oversee our procurement and manage it in an efficient and organized manner.
Position: Asst. Manager/ Manager ProcurementExperience: Min 5 Yrs.Location: GhaziabadCTC Range: 78 LPA Role and Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors for solar equipment and components. Work closely with the project team to understand the specific solar EPC requirements. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts and pricing terms. Provide expertise in raw material (RM) procurement and ensure timely availability of materials. Source and procure highquality inverters/ Cables/ Electrical components and other equipment s. Conduct rate analysis of different components and ensure competitive procurement rates. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless procurement processes Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve overall efficiency. Oversee the endtoend procurement process by monitoring vendor performance and delivery schedules. Participate in technical evaluation of vendors and assist in selecting the most suitable suppliers. Coordinate with the logistics team for timely delivery and ensure smooth inventory management. Handle documentation and maintain accurate records of procurement activities. Stay updated with the latest market trends and industry innovations in solar procurement.
Required Skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience in solar procurement or related field Strong knowledge of solar equipment and components particularly inverters Handson exp in procurement of Electrical components (Inverters Wires switches etc) Proficient in procurement processes negotiation techniques and rate analysis Good analytical and problemsolving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously. Familiarity with solar EPC processes and industry standards.
