Job Overview

As the Lead Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the technical stack, from the front-end user interface to the back-end services and databases. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of the company, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in full stack development, with a strong focus on leadership, problem-solving, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership:
  • Lead the development, maintenance, and scaling of our web platform and associated applications.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and other teams to define and prioritize technical requirements.
  • Full Stack Development:
  • Design, develop, and implement front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue).
  • Develop and maintain back-end services and APIs using server-side languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, or Ruby).
  • Manage databases (SQL and NoSQL) and ensure data integrity, security, and scalability.
  • System Architecture & Best Practices:
  • Design and implement scalable and secure system architectures that meet business requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Optimize the performance of the platform, including speed, responsiveness, and reliability.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for improving the technology stack and development processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and integrate them into the company’s tech stack as appropriate.
  • Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in full stack development, with a proven track record of leading technical projects.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
  • Strong experience with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby) and RESTful API development.
  • Expertise in database management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Security & Best Practices:
  • Knowledge of security practices and data protection protocols.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of performance optimization techniques and tools.
