Role: Program Lead-Odisha.

Experience: 7-10 Years.

Location: Bhubaneshwar (with travel expected across Odisha).

Role Overview:

The program lead will have responsibility for the complete performance and execution of the project.

Tasks of the Program Lead includes liaisoning with the state governments and other organizations, conducting teacher training and meetings, collecting and making data based decisions, working with Rocket functional teams (content, media, tech, etc), conducting research, etc.

The role is expected to recruit and manage a team of 10 direct reports and nore as per the requirement in the state.

The role has the following main components:

- Team management Leading a team of district coordinators, program managers and Senior program managers to manage day to day operations related to roll out and maintenance of Rocket Learning products for parents and Anganwadis.

- Govt. advocacy Coordination and driving the ECE agenda with district level heads of ICDS (DPOs), state department of WCD and other related departments in Mumbai/Pune including liaising with IAS officers across the state and district levels.

- Internal coordination with cross-functional teams Collaborating with internal team on upskilling, data, product, technology and content to drive improvement in ops product metrics as well as other strategic projects.

Key Job Requirements:

- 7-10 years of exposure to government systems of early grades education, and ability to liaison with them on a regular basis.

- Leading a team of professionals who will impact millions of young learners in the state of Odisha.

Required Skills:

- Ability to interpret data and high comfort with data, analysis and Microsoft suite.

- Odia is a must.

- Ability to scale processes and initiatives.

- Comfort with technology.
