Job Description :Responsibilities :- Cloud Architecture Design : Design and implement robust cloud-based solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.- Cloud Strategy : Develop and execute cloud strategies that align with organizational goals.- Infrastructure Management & Optimization : Oversee cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.- Analyze current cloud usage and identify opportunities to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance resource utilization.- Cloud Security : Establish and maintain security protocols for GCP resources, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.- Cost Management : Implement cost optimization strategies, including monitoring, rightsizing, and identifying underutilized resources.- Team Collaboration : Work with development, operations, and business teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of cloud services.- IAM Management : Simplify and streamline Identity and Access Management policies, ensuring appropriate access control.- Apigee Management : Optimize API management workflows and costs using Apigee or alternative platforms.- Technology Leadership : Stay up to date with cloud technology advancements and provide recommendations to enhance the organization's cloud capabilities.- Disaster Recovery : Design and implement robust disaster recovery and backup strategies.- Best Practices : Stay up to date with GCP advancements and implement best practices for cloud operations.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).- 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on GCP.- Professional certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or equivalent.- Expertise in GCP services like Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.- Hands-on experience with cost management and optimization tools like GCP Pricing Calculator and Billing Reports.- Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance standards.- Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.- Solid knowledge of API management and tools like Apigee.- Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and serverless computing.- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.- Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud- Professional Architect, or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert.- Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is preferred.- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell is preferred.
