Position – PermanentRole – Backend Engineer Experience – 8-10 Years Location – Chennai/BangaloreKey Responsibilities Architect, design, and implementscalable backend systemsusingTypeScript / JavaScript (Node.js). Lead the design and optimization ofdata models and indexing strategiesinPostgreSQL and/or Elasticsearchfor high-volume workloads. Buildsearch and analytics pipelinesthat support AI/ML and NLP-based content classification and detection. Optimize APIs and services forhigh throughput, low latency, and horizontal scalabilityacross global deployments. Establishbest practices in code quality, observability, CI/CD, and performance monitoring. Partner with AI and platform teams to embedmachine learning inference, semantic search, and vector indexinginto production workflows. Overseesystem reliability, data consistency, and fault-tolerant designacross distributed microservices. Mentor mid-level engineers, drive design reviews, and contribute to long-term platform evolution and scalability roadmap. Collaborate with DevOps to designresilient containerized deploymentsusingDocker and Kubernetes. Required Skills & Experience 8–10 yearsof backend engineering experience, ideally inhigh-scale SaaS or AI product environments. Deep expertise inPostgreSQL(query optimization, schema design, indexing) and/orElasticsearch(clustering, shard management, advanced querying). Strong proficiency inTypeScript and JavaScript (Node.js) Proven track record ofscaling backend systemsto handle millions of transactions and large user bases. Solid understanding ofsystem design, caching, load balancing, and distributed computing. Experience withmessage queues(Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS) andevent-driven architectures. Hands-on experience inDocker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD(GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps). Working knowledge ofcloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP), infrastructure as code, and monitoring stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK). Familiarity withAPI security, authentication, and rate limitingfor large-scale REST or GraphQL systems. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance profiling capabilities. Good to Have Exposure toAI/ML system integration, vector databases, or semantic search pipelines. Experience withdata streaming frameworks(Kafka Streams, Flink, Spark Streaming). Understanding ofZero-downtime release strategies,Blue-Green deployments, andchaos testing. Experience withRedis, Memcached, or CDN-based cachingstrategies. Familiarity withthreat intelligence, anomaly detection, or cybersecurity data systems
