Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Plant Head at Yoshika Engineering Private Limited in Chakan (Pune). The Plant Head will be responsible for overseeing Plant Operations, Production Planning, Quality Control, and Budgeting. Additionally, the Plant Head will manage Production Management tasks to ensure operational efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate daily operations of the manufacturing plant
  • Oversee all levels of staff activity and performance
  • Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times
  • Screen, interview and manage the onboarding process of new hires
  • Provide training and educational materials to staff as necessary
  • Yearly, quarterly, and monthly business planning and forecasting.
  • Coordinate and set priorities for customer needs inside the organisation with Supply Chain and Plant.


Qualifications

  • Plant Operations, Production Planning, and Production Management skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Good knowledge of TPM, manufacturing practices, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Experience in the automotive or engineering industry is required
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies is a plus
  • Knowledge of Wheel Rim Manufacturing, Nickel Chrome plating and Powder Coating will be an added advantage
  • Well-versed with Automotive OEM and Tier-1 customers ( 2 W/ 3 W/ 4 W) with good customer contacts
