cKers Finance (pronounced 'seekers') is an innovative sustainability finance company focused on offering specialized debt products for Energy and Resource Sustainability initiatives, including rooftop solar and electric vehicles.

cKers is looking to recruit a DGM Wholesale Credit looking to join a start-up in its foundation stages- with all the joys and uncertainty associated with it

The candidate should be adept at wholesale credit underwriting, financial modeling and financial statement analysis with an interest in renewable energy, electric vehicles and SME financing. The candidate must have a "can do" attitude for the segments that we cater to, at the same time manage the credit risk of the portfolio. Must be willing to interface with the clients directly and constructively guide the analysts involved in would be responsible for: -

- Managing Credit Risk and Credit Decisioning for the entire wholesale/ SME Portfolio

- Assessing project/company financial models, business plans and financial statement analysis

- Constructively guiding the investment analysts/associates involved in underwriting for new/ existing customers in preparing credit assessment notes to enable sanction by approving authority

- Approve limit disbursements and monitor client operations/key milestones/project cash flows for credit health of the portfolio

- Support Corporate functions and institutional capability building

- Build an in-depth operational understanding of various sub-segments in sustainability and work with partners to refine lending and risk monitoring strategies

About you

Firstly, you should be looking to join an organization in its early stages. In addition:

- You must have strong analytical (quantitative as well as qualitative) skills including building models

- You should have a strong credit risk analysis foundation

- You have excellent communication, writing skills, and presentation skills and a constructive approach towards managing risk

You must have

- A Masters Degree/Professional Certification such as MBA or CA / CFA

- Prior wholesale lending, project finance, SME lending or wholesale credit rating experience of 8-10 years

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

- Excellent written and presentation skills.

- Ability to work 'hands-on' and multi-task in an energetic environment
