Position Title:Electrical Engineer – UAV Systems Location:Mhow, Indore, India Job Type:Full-Time Department:R&D – Electrical & Power Systems Experience Level:Minimum 2 years (UAV / Robotics / Embedded preferred)Key Responsibilities:Design and develop completeelectrical architectureforunmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) , covering power requirements, redundancy, and interface layouts. Performpower distribution analysis , ensuring lightweight, efficient, and fail-safe operation in air-borne conditions. Develop, test, and validateLi-ion/Li-Po battery packsandBattery Management Systems (BMS)for flight platforms. Design and integrateElectronic Speed Controllers (ESCs) ,motors , andpayload power systemswith flight controllers (Pixhawk, Cube, STM32, etc.). Createelectrical schematics, wiring harnesses , andPCB layoutsin Altium or KiCad for UAV modules. ConductEMI/EMC, thermal, and endurance testingas per MIL-STD and aviation standards. Collaborate withavionics, mechanical, and software engineersto optimize UAV performance and reliability. Participate inprototype assembly, testing, and field validation . Ensure compliance withMIL-STD, EMI/EMC , and safety protocols.Required Skills & Qualifications:B.Tech/M.Techin Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field. 2+ yearshands-on experience inelectrical design or embedded electronics(preferably UAV, robotics, or automotive). Strong understanding ofanalog/digital circuit design ,power supply systems ,microcontrollers , andCAN/I2C/UART protocols . Expertise inPCB design (Altium/KiCad) , library management, and high-current/low-weight design rules. Working knowledge ofBLDC & PMSM motors ,ESC calibration , andpropulsion system interfacing . Experience inbattery pack design(mechanical, electrical, and thermal) andBMS integration . Familiarity withdata acquisition tools ,oscilloscopes ,multimeters , andRF test setups . Experience inmilitary-grade cable & harness designis an advantage.
