Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our top-tier IT client in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP development, with experience in designing, coding, testing, and supporting applications within the SAP environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and Development: Develop custom ABAP programs, enhancements, reports, and interfaces using SAP ABAP programming language.

- Technical Specifications: Work closely with functional teams to gather requirements and create technical specifications.

- SAP Module Integration: Integrate ABAP developments with various SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, and others.

- Debugging and Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve technical issues, debug programs, and perform performance tuning.

- Quality Assurance: Conduct unit testing and ensure that all ABAP code adheres to coding standards and best practices.

- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed code, including technical specifications and user guides.

- Support: Provide ongoing support for existing SAP systems and troubleshoot production issues as needed.

Skills and Qualifications :

- SAP ABAP Expertise: Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP programming with a minimum of 4-6 years of experience.

- Object-Oriented ABAP: Hands-on experience in Object-Oriented ABAP programming.

- Reports and Enhancements: Experience in creating reports, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and enhancements.

- Data Migration: Experience with SAP data migration tools such as LSMW and BDC.

- Module Knowledge: Understanding of various SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD) and their integration with ABAP developments.

- SAP Fiori/UI5: Basic understanding or experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 is a plus.

- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and deliver efficient solutions.

- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Educational Background :

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
