We have presence in the UK, India and Ukraine.What You’ll Be DoingDevelop and enhance backend features in our product suite using Java and modern frameworksPropose and implement clean, performant code and robust low-level design solutionsParticipate in agile team ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teamsBuild testable, scalable, and maintainable software backed by automated testsIdentify technical improvements and champion engineering best practicesTroubleshoot and resolve issues in production environmentsContribute to code reviews and mentor junior engineersCollaborate with software development squads, DevOps and cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, and quality assurance (QA) teams, to deliver high-quality software solutions.Proven Experience Required:Able to communicate clearly and accurately on technical topics in English (verbal and written)Can write performant, testable and maintainable JAVA code10+ years of proven commercial JAVA experienceProven extensive experience of Java ecosystem and related technologies and frameworksSpring Boot, Spring libraries and frameworksHibernateMavenExperience of building services in stream-based systems such as SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ or PulsarGeneral Experience Required: Knowledge of best practice and patterns across the implementation, build and deployment of JAVA servicesFluent in TDD and familiar with BDDKnowledge of Git, JIRA, Confluence, Maven, Docker and using JenkinsSolid experience of working with RESTful services in microservices oriented architecturesSolid knowledge of working within a cloud based infrastructure, ideally AWSKnowledge of NoSQL and relational database management systems, especially PostgreSQLThorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and software patternsNice to have:Experience with AWS Services such as Lambda, SQS, S3, Rekognition Face LivenessExperience with Camunda BPMNWhat We OfferOpportunity to be part of a high-performing, innovative tech team.Work with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced SaaS environment.This role is 5 days in our Kochi office and shift time will be from 11 am to 8pm ISTDon't meet all the requirements?TEG value diverse perspectives and are committed to building an inclusive workplace.
