Job Title : MSSQL DB Administration

Location : Mumbai

Work Mode : WFO

Experience : 3-6 years

Job Type : Contract to hire (C2H)

Notice Period : Immediate joiners.

Any Project specific Prerequisite skills : MSSQL DB Administration

Detailed JD :

- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 to 6 years of MS SQL Server Administration experience.

- Knowledge of Oracle Database and PostgreSQL Administration is a plus with the ability to handle L1 Oracle DBA support being an added advantage.

- Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization PTO using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools is required.

- Familiarity with transactional replication including configuration and troubleshooting replication issues is necessary.

- The candidate should be experienced in performing backups restores and recovery models as well as access provisioning.

- Knowledge of High Availability HA and Disaster Recovery DR options for SQL Server is essential.

- Experience working with Windows Server including Active Directory is required.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.

- Were looking for a flexible team member with a get it done personality who can organize and plan work independently.

- The ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and multitask effectively between different activities and teams is crucial.

- Willingness to work in a 24x7 environment is necessary.

- A Microsoft Certified Azure Database Administrator Associate certification will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer, maintain, and support MS SQL Server databases in production and non-production environments

- Perform backup, restore, recovery, and access provisioning

- Monitor database performance, availability, and capacity, and conduct tuning using native tools

- Configure and troubleshoot transactional replication

- Implement and maintain High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for SQL Server

- Provide L1 support for Oracle databases if required (added advantage)

- Support database security, user management, and compliance requirements

- Work with Windows Server environments and Active Directory integration

- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to support business objectives

- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation related to configuration, processes, and troubleshooting

- Willingness to work in a 24x7 support environment
