Ltd. in Jamshedpur. The Front Line Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily sales activities, managing a team of sales agents, achieving sales targets, building and maintaining client relationships, and providing exceptional customer service.- The role also involves training and motivating the sales team to enhance their performance and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.. Key Responsibilities:Sales Force Leadership and Performance Management:- Directly manage, mentor, and motivate a team of field-based Insurance Agents/Advisors, establishing clear, quantifiable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for premium collection, policy issuance, persistency rates, and new agent recruitment.- Conduct daily and weekly performance reviews, coaching sessions, and joint field work (JFW) to diagnose performance gaps and execute targeted interventions to enhance agent productivity and selling skills.- Drive the usage of company-provided digital sales tools and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms for efficient lead tracking, pipeline management, and client documentation.Target Achievement and Business Planning:- Develop and implement a granular, data-driven sales strategy for the assigned geographic area to consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets across all product lines (e.g., Protection, Savings, Annuity, Health Riders).- Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and demographic data to identify new business opportunities and adjust the team's approach for maximum market penetration.Recruitment, Training, and Skill Development:- Actively engage in the continuous process of sourcing, screening, and onboarding high-potential individuals as Insurance Agents/Advisors, building a strong, sustainable sales pipeline.- Deliver comprehensive training sessions on complex insurance products, underwriting guidelines, sales processes, and effective client needs analysis, ensuring complete product fluency within the team.- Ensure all agents are fully trained and comply with regulatory requirements mandated by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI).Customer and Relationship Management (CRM):- Champion a client-centric approach, ensuring all customer interactions and sales practices adhere to the highest standards of ethics and customer service.- Oversee the team's efforts in maintaining long-term client relationships, ensuring high client satisfaction, managing renewals, and driving policy persistency through proactive communication.- Handle escalated customer grievances or complex sales scenarios, demonstrating strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to protect the company's brand integrity.Operational Compliance and Reporting:- Scrupulously ensure that all sales activities, documentation, and agent licensing requirements are strictly compliant with internal company policies and external IRDAI regulations.- Generate and analyze detailed sales reports, forecast accuracy metrics, and agent activity logs to provide executive management with timely and accurate business insights.Required Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related quantitative field. - Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Sales Management or Team Leadership, preferably within the Financial Services or Insurance industry. - Proven track record of consistently achieving challenging sales targets and leading a team to high performance.- Expert-level Communication and Interpersonal Skills, with demonstrated ability to motivate, negotiate, and influence internal and external stakeholders.- Strong functional knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) principles and experience utilizing CRM software for sales process optimization.- Exceptional Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities required for performance diagnostics, market analysis, and troubleshooting sales bottlenecks.- Demonstrable proficiency in Time Management and Organizational Skills to manage competing priorities of team development, sales targets, and administrative compliance.- Foundational knowledge of diverse Life Insurance Products and the IRDAI Regulatory Framework.
